North Node and South Node
The South Node is always exactly opposite the North Node. Astrologers often describe the axis as a pull between familiar habits (South) and less comfortable territory that rewards effort (North).

What is my North Node?
The lunar nodes are the two points where the Moon's path crosses the Sun's. The North Node is often read as the direction of growth, the South Node as what already comes easily.
